Parks and Water Bond Act of 2018 (Proposition 68)

On June 5, 2018, voters passed Proposition 68 by 57.6 percent.  The $4 billion “Parks, Environment, and Water Bond Act of 2018” is detailed in Division 45 of the Public Resources Code.
  

Programs Appropriated in 2020/21 Budget:

  • Statewide Park Program Round 4: $395.3 Million Available

  • Regional Park Program: $23.1 Million Available

  • Rural Recreation and Tourism Program: $23.1 Million Available
  • Locally-Operated State Parks Program

Programs Appropriated in 2018/19 and 2019/20 Budget Acts

  • Statewide Park Program (SPP) - Round 3: $254,942,000 Awarded     

  • Per Capita Program

  • Recreational Infrastructure Revenue Enhancement (RIRE) Program: $37,000,000
